Editorial Policy

How TestDayTools writes, checks, updates, and labels unofficial DMV, AP, and SAT tools.

Last updated:

Purpose

TestDayTools publishes practical planning tools, checklists, and original practice questions for exam and DMV preparation. The goal is to help readers decide the next action, not to replace official sources.

Original tools and questions

Practice questions, sign illustrations, checklists, and study flows are written for this site. DMV sign graphics are simplified original SVG illustrations used for recognition practice.

Official-source priority

When a page mentions a rule, test format, document requirement, or deadline, the official source is treated as the final authority. If a TestDayTools page conflicts with an official source, the official source wins.

Update process

Static pages are rebuilt from structured data files so dates, source links, FAQs, and practice paths can be updated without redesigning the site. Pages show a site-wide last-updated date.

Corrections

Correction requests should include the page URL, the section that appears outdated or unclear, and the official source that should be checked.

Advertising policy

Real ads are not installed yet. If ads are approved later, placements should not cover quiz choices, checklist controls, source links, or any button needed to use a tool.
