Privacy Policy
Privacy policy for TestDayTools, including browser storage, Google Analytics, hosting logs, and future advertising disclosures.
Last updated:
Personal information
TestDayTools does not provide user accounts or forms that ask you to submit names, emails, test scores, driver's license numbers, Social Security numbers, payment details, or school records. Hosting and analytics services may still process limited technical data as described below.
Quiz answers
Practice quiz answers are checked in your browser. They are not submitted to a server by this static site.
Checklist and mistake-log storage
Some tools can remember selected states, checked items, or saved weak areas in your browser's local storage. This is meant only for convenience on the same device and is not an official DMV record.
No driver's license data
Do not enter driver's license numbers, Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses, payment details, or appointment confirmation numbers into this site. Use official agency pages for personal applications.
External official-source links
Many pages link to official DMV, College Board, or other agency resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices and may ask for account or application information.
Server logs
Because the site is hosted as static pages, the hosting provider may process basic technical logs such as page requests, device information, or IP-derived region for security and delivery.
Google Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure basic site usage, including page views, traffic sources, device and browser information, approximate region, scrolling, downloads, tool actions, and outbound clicks. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers and process technical information under Google's own terms and privacy practices. TestDayTools uses these measurements to decide which study tools need improvement and does not send names, emails, driver's license numbers, account details, or test scores to Google Analytics.
Advertising
Advertising is not installed yet. If Google AdSense is activated, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to TestDayTools or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve, limit, personalize, and measure ads. Any additional advertising vendors used by TestDayTools will be disclosed before their code goes live.
Advertising choices and consent
Visitors can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. Before eligible advertising is activated for visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, TestDayTools will configure a Google-certified consent management platform and provide the disclosures and choices required for that traffic.
Children and students
The site is a general-audience educational resource and does not ask students to create accounts, submit scores, or provide school records. Learners should not enter personal application, identity, payment, or school information into any TestDayTools study control.
